Moira is a self knowledge and reflection platform that generates personalized readings based on seven ancient systems: Western astrology, Vedic astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, numerology, Chinese zodiac, and Sabian Symbols. Readings are generated by artificial intelligence using real astronomical calculations from the Swiss Ephemeris. See our AI Disclosure for details on how AI is used.
Moira readings are generated by artificial intelligence. The planetary calculations are exact (Swiss Ephemeris, the same database used by NASA). The text of your reading is written by an AI system trained to produce readings in the Moira voice. Readings are not written by a human astrologer. We are transparent about this because you deserve to know how your reading was made.
You must provide a valid email address and password to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if between 13 and 18). Moira is not intended for children under 13.
Moira collects your birth date, birth time, and birth location to generate personalized readings. This data is stored securely, never sold, never shared with third parties, and can be deleted at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Moira content, including readings, text, design, and code, is the property of Moira. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Moira content without written permission. The calculation engine uses the Swiss Ephemeris, licensed from Astrodienst. Human Design and Gene Keys are public domain interpretive systems. Sabian Symbols are based on the original 1925 channeling by Elsie Wheeler as recorded by Marc Edmund Jones.
Moira's AI system is configured with strict guardrails to ensure readings are safe and non harmful. The system will never:
Every reading is framed as self reflection, not instruction. We use "you might consider" not "you should" or "you must." Practices are suggestions, not directives.
Moira is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moira shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on readings, emotional or psychological effects of readings, or outcomes that differ from what a reading describes.
Your use of Moira is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.
