Pricing Questions
The answers you need before you decide.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes. Your natal chart across all seven systems is free forever. No credit card. No trial period. No expiring. You can use Moira for free for the rest of your life if you want. The free tier includes your complete natal reading with practical application guidance. We believe everyone deserves to see their own thread.
Why $12.99? Other apps are cheaper.
Co-Star is $9.99 per month. CHANI is $11.99. They each offer one system. Moira offers seven. We calculate your chart using the Swiss Ephemeris (the same data NASA uses), we provide monthly readings that weave all seven systems together, we deliver them to your email, and we include the practical application layer that tells you what to do with what you learn. No other app does all of that. $12.99 is less than a single streaming subscription and significantly less than a single session with an astrologer (which costs $150 to $300).
What do I get with annual that I do not get with monthly?
Atropos ($129/year) includes everything in Lachesis plus: your annual Solar Return reading (your personal new year calculated from the exact moment the Sun returns to your natal degree), Saturn Return tracking and guidance, Nodal Return readings, progressed Moon tracking, four quarterly deep dive readings (one per season), and the annual Life Arc reading that ties your entire year into one narrative. You also save $27 (17%) compared to paying monthly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel with one click from your dashboard. No phone calls, no retention scripts, no guilt trips. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your billing period, and your natal chart remains free forever.
What about refunds?
If you are not happy with your first month, email us at support@moiraapp.com within 30 days and we will refund you, no questions asked. After the first 30 days, you can cancel at any time and you will not be charged again, but we do not offer partial refunds for unused time.
How is payment processed?
Payments are processed by Stripe, the same payment system used by Amazon, Google, and Shopify. Your card information is never stored on our servers. Stripe handles all security and encryption. We never see your full card number.
Can I switch between plans?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. If you upgrade from monthly to annual, we will prorate the difference. If you downgrade, your current plan stays active until the end of the billing period.
What if I cannot afford it?
The free tier is yours forever, no matter what. If you want the monthly readings but truly cannot afford $12.99, email us at hello@moiraapp.com. We believe self knowledge should not be a luxury. We will work with you.
